Avis Ward - witty, zany, enthusiastic, energetic and caring! Her affinity for laughter makes for an unusual sense of humor. She believes in the simplicity of life. Avis works as a Certified Life Coach, Inspirational Speaker, and Certified Seminar Leader. She has been blessed with many spiritual gifts and she enjoys sharing them.
Avis's spirituality helps her maintain peace when all about her can be chaotic. Her life has been one of much joy and pain. It's through the disappoints and pain that she has emerged with the strength of a lioness and gentleness of a lamb.
Avis is a rare, native Floridian who now resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the SC Upstate. She founded GeoVi's Home for New Life, a non-profit 501(c)3 caring for homeless pregnant teens.
She is a volunteer for Junior Achievement, Communities in Schools, Greenville Literacy Association and GeoVi's Home for New Life.
Avis has been teased her entire life about her first name. Although the rental car company coined it first, this one tries extremely hard, too. But, her motto is: "The best help the world will ever get is from me!" You see, she is second to none, as well! Being around her, you will see Caring in Action (CIA).
