Wouldn't it be pleasing to be known as a channel of blessings? Everyone has the opportunity to minister downstream.
During these tough economic times, believers must constantly remind ourselves of our true Source. This question was recently posted to me, "What would happen if we outsourced God?" The response was the evidence of outsourcing God is what the world is currently experiencing. Industry giants tumble and world systems crumble. The Kingdom of God will stand forever and its citizens are protected.
There is Good News! Reassurance can be enjoyed by everyone whether a believer or not. It is known as giving . We can multiply what we have simply by giving. It is a spiritual and universal law. Remember the boomerang? This law has a boomerang effect. What you send out will come back to you. Don't lose sight of this, especially during tough times.
Offer your life as a route through which blessings flow by:
- Giving you away. Someone needs you, uniquely you.
- Giving your money away. There are countless worthy causes.
- Giving away your emotions. Compassion and understanding are all needed by everyone you meet.
- Giving others hope by sharing your testimony. Share with them the bad, ugly, and shame; also the times you thought of giving up but where you received your hope and strength to keep going.
- Giving away your time. You have expertise, talents, gifts, knowledge and wisdom desperately needed by others.
We are a channel of blessings. "Out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of waters; the waters of the Holy Spirit." Blessings will be multiplied to you in the area of your giving. If you do not believe me, try it!
