Master of the Universe, I chuckled the other day during an intellectual discussion about Pluto not being a planet as man thought and how two other planets were possibly discovered. I was given a look of surprise when I said this research and study were good mental exercise for man but You are the only One who knows everything there is about all things. You created it all. You made the earth for our habitation and what a beautiful planet it is.
Our finite minds cannot comprehend your divine infiniteness. There are times I think of the many questions I have for you but I know they will be trivial as I behold your face in the place you have prepared for me. I try to imagine what it’s like from my travels but of all the beauty I have beheld on earth, I know nothing compares to what is in store for us. “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which He hath prepared for them that wait for Him.”There are many things that cannot be explained. I do not need an explanation. I see your hand and involvement in all of it. I marvel at your wondrous works and awesomeness! The larger You become in me, the smaller I am. I could never be worthy save for your grace. I seek you and your guidance in all that I do. My obedience to your Word helps me to walk fearlessly among the lost. If they can see You in me; come to know You through me; and give their lives to You because they see You in me, I rejoice and give You the glory! I know this would be pleasing to You and that is my heart and sole/soul desire, to please You.
If there are nine planets or fifteen, You made them all. If there is one solar system or three, it was by Your hand they were created. If science uses mass as a determinant to decide if the other are a planet or not, You will probably be amused. It’s my guess You find humor in Your human creation. We must be entertaining to You. I’m grateful You knew our every thought long before it was thought. Your unconditional love is indicated by Your tolerance of us. Thank You.
I thank You for the lovely bougainvillea and many varieties of roses, all equally beautiful yet thorny. I’m thankful for the overcast sky that brought relief on what would otherwise be a scorching hot day. I give thanks to You for carrying me through difficult times and being my joy at all times. Thank You for making life simple and forgive me when it seems I try to complicate it. I’m learning simplicity is the difference between that which is eloquent over that which is plain. You are eloquent; You are Elohim, the Almighty God. Thank you Lord for all things great and small. I believe You made them all.
