Are you true to the words you speak? Do you speak words that are full of life or words that are lifeless? Do you make promises and do not keep them?

We have control over every utterance from our lips. Whatever is in the heart is revealed by what we say. The Holy Scriptures tells us there is no contradiction in that as a man thinks, so is he.

It's that time in my part of the world where I wrestle with my favorite time of the year. The climate is perfect for me in the South Carolina upstate during fall and spring. Winters can become too cold and summers too hot but the Giver and Creator of wondrous things provides for each of us.

I am a single, unattached woman. I am not dating anyone, even casually. I had the same status and happy circumstances for my birthday in October, at Christmas, and the New Year. I did celebrate those occasions however, with people I love and who love me.

Every family will not be together on Christmas day. Every child will not receive a present. We would never compete with the Greatest Gift ever given to mankind but each of us can do our part. We can know we have contributed to the happiness of someone on this day of celebration. Here are some ideas:
