ah-ha moment.jpgInspiration comes in various forms. It can come from a person, place or thing. Resolving to keep an open mind, entertaining "what if's, why not's " and possibilities, continues to enhance my personal enjoyment through this journey call life.

We mature and put away childish things but should retain the childlike wonder of life. Life is spectacular and I cherish it. Someone reading this may beg to differ. For them, life is rotten! Their marriage of many years or a few short months has come to an end. You are distraught with the emotional pain of your wounds.

pray_Full.jpgMy siblings and I were taught to pray at an early age. Prayer came in many forms in our home. We prayed before meals, leaving for school, at school, church and at bedtime. I learned early on that prayer was simply a talk with God. This practice was not abandoned even when my lifestyle was less than pleasing to Him.

There are times when I want to feel sorry for myself. I know when that happens it's because I'm filled to the brim and overflowing with "Avis" and not God, the Word made flesh. I sit and dine at the table of poor me, self-pity, unfairness and all the other things I can think of to plunge into utter despair.
